So I got a screamin deal on a wastegated HX-35, much better than the old lagmater 21cm

I want to step it up to the 4" exhaust, but with the w/g housing being longer will I run into a problem with the 4" downpipe? Stans system is nice and they are right down the road, but the 4" downpipe from source automotive needs the end welded anyway so I figured it would be easier to mod if I had to from the start. Does anyone run the stans setup with a w/g hx 35?

 

I have an HX35 on my 93 and its works perfect with Stan's setup because the downpipe is shorter by a bit. Bolts right up

 

Stan's DP fits better with a HX-35 than the stock DP does.

Look at your stock down pipe and then the pic below. That is a Stan's 4" down pipe your looking at. The WG housing is 1.25" longer than a nonWG housing.
