4 Door Question:

I have seen many 1st gen extra cabs, but I have never seen (in person) a 1st gen crew cab.<br><br>Like this<br><br>Just wondering, were these common and Im just missing them, or were these a limited production kind of thing?<br> ???<br><br>Rich.

Ahhh, yes.<br>After I went back and read the album (the one in the link), I see it was a 1983 converted to a '93.<br><br>However, I still havent seen too many crew cab Dodges in this body style.<br>I have seen several that would be early 70's or so... but never one with the 1st gen body style.<br> ???<br>Rich.

i have a 81 4 door dodge 4x4 1 ton short bed! and i had a 75 dodge 4 door 2wd that i use to drive when i was in high school! ya they didnt make a whole lot of them! i know of a 78 4 door dodge 2wd for sale close to me! and i just saw the love of my life in the paper about a hr ago 91 dodge 250 4x4 long bed Cummings Turbo Diesel 4 DOOR!!!! 5spd!! ya thats right 4DOOR!!! i have been callin all dang day i cant get ahold of anybody!!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr i want that truck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!<br>

if u look on page 19 of the pics page under powerwagon440's toys u will c 2 pics of my 4 door with the snow plow on it!<br><br>thats what i thought to they stopped making them in 85 but i few years ago my dad allmost got a 89 4x4 4door dodge long bed with a 5spd ctd! and today i just found one in the paper there was one that i metioned in my last post! i finally got ahold of the guy it has 192,000 miles just repainted 5spd. only bad thing is he said u put in 4x4 and it makes a growling sound! they guy said that the previous owner bought it brand new at the dealer in 91. so i dont know when they stopped making them.

well guys wish me luck!!! im going in the morning to take a look at the 4 door with the ctd! i guess some other guy is supposed to be there to!! guess ill just have to beat him there!! ;D the 99 ctd will be ***** to the wall in the morning!!

well i just got back!! and i am sad i didnt bring her home! :'( she ran strong and the 5spd was the bomb!!! but the floor was rotted out and replace very badly it was not what the guy said it was and he wanted to much $$$$ for it! and plus i was drivin her down the road and all i could smell was anti freeze bruning!! and i was in and out from under the hood and could only c alittle bit of anit freeze in a puddle by number 2 injector! wasnt oil so valve gasket wasnt leaking i dont know what was with that but it was deffenitly anti freeze!! but she ran really stong and shifted great!! owell i guess ill waint and keep lookin for my dream truck some more! guess ill just have to make one now!!!

purdy sure there's nothing newer than '85 model year. You won't find one listed in Kelley Blue Book.
