3D printed Pistol Grip for NV4500

I designed and printed this shift handle for my truck.
The grips are printed in a wood fiber matrix so slightly more authentic than the original. :)
Printed threads in the center section which is printed in PET, then threaded in an insert with the proper pitch for an NV4500 shifter.
Had tried printing them 100% out of ABS carbon fiber with direct threading but they eventually break off from banging gears.
Going to start testing this configuration tomorrow!

Very cool design.....did you alter the orientation of the threaded portion so the grip will be more upright? I did about 2 years with my pistol grip shifter in Patches while very cool I never found it particularly comfortable so swapped back to the OEM NV4500 shifter and much prefer the round shifter ball. ;)

Actually I used a similar angle to the Mopar factory one because I like it. I usually have a t-handle but when I'm driving rowdy I shift holding the stick below the shift knob because that is better for me, not to mention shifting it from lower down the stick shortens the throw.
I put it on the morning and have been driving with it, very comfortable for be except I really need to shorten the stick.
