366 spring

just got my 366 spring and when i hold it in second gear and put it to the floor when it winds up it smokes like a train i dont know if that is good or not im wait in on gauges to check egts. should my truck do this or did i screw up something

Before I put mine in it would barely smoke at wide open. After I put it in with the same settings I would stop traffic because of the smoke. It would make a cloud that would travel a city block and egt's could of hit 1500deg.
Point being be careful and get a pyro I recommend backing out the full power screw untill you have a haze at wide open. Mine also has the 16cfm housing so I can build a bit more boost than you to help cool egt's and those egt's are what I saw until I turned it down a bit. Thing is after you turn it down to manageable egt's you will still have gained power and also a longer power ban.
