3200 Gov spring install question

While the motor is out of the doner truck I am doing some things to it, I installed the 3200 gov spring but now I screwed up and didn't see where the throttle linkage on the shaft was set at. 1-4. 2-3? etc?

(am I explaining this correctly)

I have been doing some searches and can't find where I should set it when I put it back on the pump.

Here is a pic from the instructions.

Any idea where I should set it,..?

Thanks!
Darrin

Mine was just like the picture, 1 down on left and 4 down on right, hope this helps. I think that those are pretty standard settings from the factory but im not sure.

Start there, that's pretty typical.

Set your idle and power screws to where they were before you took everything apart.

If the truck idles way too fast, turn the shaft one spline clockwise and retry.
If the truck dies when you try to let it idle, turn the shaft one spline counter-clockwise and try again.

You'll get it.

Very Cool guys, Thanks for the quick responses! I will get it back together tomorrow, but it will be a couple of months before I get it in and running so I hope it is going together correctly!

Thanks again!
