2nd gen seat in a 1st gen

Well i found a sweet 2nd gen seat it looks brand new. I got it out of the junkyard today for a pretty good deal. I think i gave myself a hernia lifting it too

So i was looking in the sticky for a write up on putting a 2nd gen seat in a 1st gen is there anything??

Any help or suggestions would help i think i can figure it out but i just wanted to see what you guys suggest

Pics would be cool too. THanks

I just did it...i'll post pics tomorrow. i just used 3" pipe spacers for the rear mount hole on the 2nd gen seats tracks.

Hey "The Sarge" did you happen to get that seat from a U-pull it yard called "B&H aka junkyard jerry's" out of a 1500 ram 2nd gen, silver/red.

If so, I hate you, me and my dad drove all the way down there to get it today, it was gone. (just to have a spare)

Sorry, a little off topic...they still have a bunch of early 90's body style dodges down there? I got some little stuff from them a few years back, thinking about making another run for door panels and some other stuff.

But on this subjet, I got some cool looking bucket seats out of a durango and stuck them in my rig recently. The ram's head looks cool, but they aren't really very comfy.

Feveree 40 yeah that definitely looks cool. They are comfy though huh?? they look like they should be.

yeah state line has a ton of those old gasser dodges back there over the creek. I could spend all day in there junkyards are so cool.

Did you happen to be at the Rising Sun dyno day at the firehouse saw a truck just like yours their that ran on the dyno.

Hey there 1bad93 u happen to be in luck there are 3 ramchargers down here at state line and the one has real nice gray bucket seats with the center console to match no tears no stains just soaking wet from the door being open.

These were there as of Saturday and things change there quick you may want to check it out though. They are open everyday except Sunday until 5:00 pm.

Hope that helps

Brandon I havent heard of that bennet and cohey yard where is it??

State line is a pretty good hike for me, but well worth it, good to hear there's still some dodges there.
Nice sub box, time to cover that. Awesome shifter.
haha, yeah the bench seat used to cover them up. I think i'll just take them out, can't hear the music over the cummins anyway. You should see the rest of the shifter, there's a hitch ball on the end of it, haha.

Did you happen to be at the Rising Sun dyno day
Yep I was there, fun times.
