It's not new and has been here for some time. It's not like it a low pro tire. He's got 8" of tire on either side of the rim so he'd have to hit a pretty big pot hole to do anything to the rim. Also the 8" of tire on either side of the rim is more than the stock 7.5, so if anything is better off then stock. If you'll also check weight ratings, you'll see that most 20" rims and tires have a higher load rating then your 10ply 16's.

It is a proven fact that the tire and wheel combination can make or break the look of a vehicle. Selecting that combination is purely the owners choice as he is the one who has to look at it every day I personally like a good old black steel wheel on most things, however, I really like those classic II's as well. The ones that really drive me nuts are 2500 rims and tires on geo metros that arent worth 50 bucks in scrap

The tires hit the fender a little at full turn when it flexes thats the only reason I was thinking of a lift

I think somebody here is losing sight of what actual low-profile wheels/tires look like..And remember low-riders like little wheels and gansta's like big wheels,Fyi.Ezra.

The wheels and the step on the rear bumper have one coat of cheap Rustoleum flat black and one finish coat of Rustoleum Hammered black paint: http://www.rustoleum.com/CBGProduct.asp?pid=29

Sorry for the poor lighting...it's been raining here for 2 days. More as I get them.
I dont know know man, looks about the same tone as Tater's and my truck..Tater said awhile back that the factory color was called copper-mettalic something? Ezra

I think Dark Copper Pearl Coat was the actual name for that color. The code is PVB. It looks like thats what they were shooting for, but like Rebel said maybe just a tint on the orange side. It looks good the way it is though. Hey if its off shade a little it just makes it that much unique.

That's what I was thinking too. I was pleasantly surprised by the color of the truck. The hint of orange just sets it off and apart for all the other 1st Gen trucks that I've seen. The color combo with the black wheels sets it off. I am seriously considering a set of 4" straight cut stacks painted semi-gloss black with a set of painted rain caps...keeps the color scheme right and gives a vintage look to the truck with the caps. Course that's after I get everything else done that I want to do.
