1st Gen Engine Block / mount bracket

Found out that the 1st generation engine brackets are much different than what is bolted to the 2nd gen. My 96 engine has a cylindrical mount with bushings on either side. The 1st gens have a bracket and sandwich rubber between the engine and frame at about a 30* angle.

Does anyone know where to get some of the earlier style brackets that bolt to the block? I have emailed a few diesel yards, but thought I would check here as well. The rubber mounts aren't a problem, many folks carry those, it is the actual bracket that bolts to the block that is the hang-up. I don't think junk yards will carry it as they would come out with the engine.

Thanks for the help, or pointing me in the right direction,

Why not make your own? A couple peices of flat plate and a drill press, maybe some welding? If you need mesurments then I/we could try and give you some.

you could cut out the mounts from your donor and weld them in

Making some could be a last resort, but I would like it to look as stock as possible. The older brackets don't look too complicated, but it would one last thing I need to fab.

Cutting out the old mounts would be a bit tricky, I need to look at it more, but they also sit farther back, I think. Welding them in would be a bit tricky as they aren't on an angle and the engine has to get pretty high to clear them. I punched a hole in the 96 cowling to get it out.

I am hoping I can get lucky, any body need the newer style and want to trade?
