It's getting close to time to repaint my 92 W-250 and need to pick colors. I want to stick with factory 91-93 colors but need codes. My cab is off a '90 and the bed who knows what year. I want to stick with the dark blue as the base color so I don't have to paint the entire interior and under the hood etc... It looks like 90 and 92 have some of the same paint codes as long as it's close enough the the 92 paint code is what I'll use.
From what I can tell this would be the original colors



So in a 91-93 It would look like this and that was originally what I was going to go with.



However, then I came across this combination and I like it even better.



The blue on the last one might be a little lighter or it might be the pic but you get the idea. So basically I'm looking for the dark blue and middle tan color paint codes for a 91-93 truck.
So I'm coming up with 2 blues and 2 "tans" both available in 90 and 92.
AC8 Navy Blue
JB6 Dark Spectrum Blue

JT2 Light Tundra
KV4 Light Champagne

My body is missing the tag under the hood, but there's still one on the firewall I just didn't see a matching paint code for a blue.
If your truck has either of these colors I'd be interested in what your paint code is and a pic of your truck so I can figure out what exactly I need.

I'm not sure if this is the color you are looking for but my 92 has a primary code of PB6(Dark Spectrum Blue Metallic) and the secondary (grey or silver) of QAC.
That last pic of the w350 dually is obviously a repaint so there's no telling what the codes would be on it. another color you might look into is one they used from about 1997 through the early 2000s, it was called driftwood it was a grey or silver color till sunlight hit it then it would turn a golden color .. really nice. hope this helps

Yeah the W-350 was definitely a repaint but it's the only one I could find on Google. I've seen a few on Facebook groups that color but didn't save the pics and can never seem to find them again.
I had a dark green and driftwood '95 and that is probably my favorite color combination on a 1st gen but I think it's call by a different name in the earlier years, probably that champagne if I were to guess. If I were to change the color that's the combination I'd go with. I actually have a 92 parts truck that is that green/tan combo but it's missing the paint code sticker too.
I would call the dealer and get the secondary code from it, but they are closed.
