1st to 3rd Gen parts fitment
 

Hi Everyone,

Do any parts fit from a 2003 Dodge truck to a 1st gen Cummins? The only reason I ask is that my son is scrapping a 2003 1/2 ton quad cab 4x4 and if any of the parts would work I would hang on to them. It sounds crazy but on my Ford 2005 Excursion the 2008 Super Duty mirrors fit exactly and they are a LOT bigger. Just checking before this one goes to the wrecking yard and I kick myself for having an upgradeable piece in my hands and it is gone.

I was going to say the rims would fit, but if your son has a 1/2 ton, scrap that idea.
I can not think of anything that would easily bolt on to a 1st gen Diesel off a 1/2 ton 3rd gen gasser.

front seat might be worth looking into. That's about all I can think of.
