1992 w250 need advice

Hey new to the forum. I have a 92 w250 4x4 auto. It has 247k on it. I have a Denny t ll fuel pin, turned the pump up, 4" turbo back straight pipe, got isspro gauges (still messin around with those), took the air box off.

Just wondering what I should do next and some ideas. I def want to do a nv 4500 swap eventually. I want it to tow like a champ but get good mpg. I also have the stock bumpers that are I good condition and would like to trade those for nice aluminum or steel bumpers. Also have nice badges I'd be willing to trade as well. Thanks for reading.

Lift pump. Keep and auto if you want to go fast. I regret the day I decided to spend all of the money on the 4500 build. BUT I want to go fast and win races. If you use the truck for a truck then the 4500 ain't bad but a 6 speed is better.

Welcome to the Funny Farm what ever you do DON"T Use a K&N filter you will regret it and as long as your auto is either built up or has a after market Torque converter you will do fine Towing Mine does great with 410's and 37 in tall tires got upward's of 17 mpg towing now it's not a Rocket but get's the Job done just fine

I agree with Simplysmn...those oil soaked cotton filters are junk...IMO. Yes they flow more air, BUT they also let in a lot more dirt and debris. I know this all too well.

If you want more air flow go with a BHAF.

BHAF and pre-filter. Also you want cooler outside air to the filter. Under hood air is hot and robs you of power potential.
