What the ????. Have followed Ebay for years and I have never seen any first generation diesel do anywhere close to this...maybe high teens for a low low mileage 4x4 dually diesel but 21600 for a 65k regular cab automatic? This is truly astounding. And 4 days left til auction ends.

same guy sold a extended cab W250 with 32k on it last week for $19,100.

i would like to know where he and the guy in Washington state get these super nice trucks.

i saw a black W250 sell for 21K a couple years ago, i think it had 105k on it, but it was an absolutely beautiful truck with original black paint that was spotless.

I thought 15000 would kill it. Shows what I know. But part of selling on Ebay is getting paid. It will be interesting to see if any feedback shows up that would indicate a completed transaction or whether its relisted. It is a beautiful truck. Maybe a low mile reg cab is a lot more scarce than an extended cab.

I know the guy that bought the 21k black truck, so i know it went through.

but i have seen quite a few relisted like you say.

they are getting few and far between, i think it's not good for a buyer right now.

I noticed that a lot of these dealers fail to take pictures of the undercarriages of these trucks, as anyone with a good knowledge of first gens knows what to look for.

Crazy numbers, but I missed that sale...... I assume it was mint, right ?

All the pristine, low mileage, stock, rust free inventory of trucks in my Washington state are getting pillaged! Maybe I am in the wrong business and need to get into the Ebay resale market. It is not a 1st Gen thing. It is a 12 valve phenomenon. The 2nd gen 12v trucks are in the same boat. In the last year I saw a back east dealer sell a couple 2nd gen 12v trucks on Ebay for over 20k. One of them had 175k miles on it. I was very suprised at the sell of that one. I talked to the owner about one of them before it sold. It came from Oregon. It is very apparent that they are trade ins from owners that don't know the market or what they had.

The 96 I bought with 82k unmolested, stock miles, never a 5th wheel, never towed, orig paint, loaded, sold to me within 45 minutes of seeing ad. I called on it within minutes of ad being posted. There were 4 local buyers right behind me ready to buy it if I passed. Luckily, I lived only 25 minutes away from where truck was at.

The 92 W350 I bought (now Bill's) I called on within minutes of Ad on Craigslist and was 1st one to get there. Had cash with me and there were 6 buyers with cash waiting to buy it if I passed on it.

If it is a clean, low mileage, 4x4,unmolested stock 12 valve truck it is sold within hours locally.

A lot of people and dealers are getting in the act in the Pacific Northwest. Most of the NICE trucks listed on Ebay...not just Cummins but 70's& 80's Fords, Chevys, Dodges and Toyotas are from that region. No road salt or searing sunlight to destroy everything.

I've had that truck in my watch-list since he listed it. VERY nice truck. And, good thing for him, I only see one zero-feedback bidder so far and that was back when it was at 14k.

I think so. Hopefully there will continue to be some parts support for the next many years. I know some items are already difficult to find. Where I live there are very few used parts sources. Anyway its as good a place as any right now to park a few thousand dollars. The are not going to get cheaper.

Anyone check out the "brand new" dodge on ebay ??

1993 Dodge Ram 2500

Springfield NJ. Guy put over$40k in parts alone into the truck.

I guess if money was no object, you could buy a brand new "modded" 1st gens. Personally I like the burgundy truck in Id. with 60K miles on it.
