I have the transmission listed above, in perfect working order with 90k miles on it. Gears, synchros, shift forks all look perfect with very minimal wear. Also have bellhousing, factory clutch, clutch fork and throwout bearing all in excellent useable shape. My question is- What are these things worth? I have been out of the loop as far as parts and prices on first gens ever since I sold mine and went Common Rail. Thanks in advance guys!

 

Dang it. And here I am, looking for one, and I'm in TN. It would probably cost more than the transmission to ship. Honestly, I dunno. I see nv4500s in part out vehicles going for $1000-1500, depending on what shape and what comes with it. I have seen the 4500s advertised for more, but the ones who ask more never seem to sell their transmissions. Getrags are usually regarded as weaker, but then again, it depends on driving style, care, and owner preference... I'd say $750-1200? But, then again, I am new to the smoky side of life...

Good working 5 sp Getrag with bell housing ready to drop in should be worth 5 to 800 .00 shipping isn't that bad either look up freightquote,com you would be surprised how cheap it would be to ship it .
