I have a 1991 W250 Dodge Cummins 4x4 with an auto. Non-IC. I have tried to confirm by searching which auto trans it is that comes in this model? (727) The reason I ask is I am trying to figure out the trans adjustment procedure. Also, I am looking to purchase a factory service manual, but do not know if I should purchase the 91 year manual or 90. Since Dodge made a change at 91.5 model year. From what I have researched anyone with a 91.5 should purchase a 92 model year service manual? I am only trying to purchase the best manual for my model year.

 

That trans should be a 3 speed non overdrive which means a 727. As for the manuals, I bought the 91 year (black covers) for mine.
