1985 w-350 axle

I found a 1985 w-350 in a bone yard today with a massive dually rearend. Can you experts tell me some thing about it? Is it a Dana 80 and would it fit on a "95" as far as axle length? I realize shock mounts would have to change and probably other things. Dually rearends are practically non existent in New England. Any info appreciated. Thnx Steve

It looked like it was set up for dual wheels, I could be wrong. Was there a Dana 70 dually?

Before the diesels the driveline was not so stout. Like he said, could be 60 or 70 dually, or some sort of chrysler axle.

as for bolting up, my truck has a 94 rear end under it and it bolted up with the shocks relocated using the shock mounts that get bolted up with the u bolts and my trucks a 93.

Most likely it's a D60.

Dodge duallys had a Dana 70 rear axle since way back in the sixties. The only drawback I can think of is, the high geared ones were 4.10s and some had 4.56s or 4.88s.

True, but it had to be ordered that way. Most likely it's a D60 dually. I have two D60 dual rear ends in my yard with 3.54 gears.
