From what I have seen and learned talking to KTA about his head/rotor is that to small a fuel supply(stock or even a piston lift pump) will not support the amount of flow the 14mm head will use. It is highly recomended that a high volume elecric pump with a fuel pressure regulator be used. Possibly even with dual feeds. Also some have died from pushing them to hard (600hp+) as this also causes them to pump to hard. Just some food for thought. It is the fuel that lubes the pump so no fuel in the pump means no lube which means you now own a dead pump.

To replace the 12mm head to the 14mm head requires alot! The pump has to be pulled, the place where the injectors go is the head, that has to be taken off, and like was said before, VERY close tolerances. KTA told me that the plunger ride so tight in the barrel that the heat from your hand will make the plunger to big to fit in. Mortality rate is high but like someone said, KTA had/has 600+hp

WOW thanks for the information about it, it looks to be a huge job with potential for messing something up

Very tight is right... it needs lube.. and break-in... And a pump shop install.. and run it on the stand... Only one plunger in the VE.. so it has to work extra hard...
