Steel Flatbed for sale, custom made for 1st gen
I don't haul hay any more, so I pulled off the steel flatbed that came with my truck and put a regular box on it.
This is custom welded steel bed, 7' wide by 9' long, with a diamond plate bed surface. It is powder coated, but that has worn off in a few places, especially where I used to carry a job box up front. It has a trap door in it for a gooseneck, and the side rails all fold down if needed. It has under bed steel boxes, but the hinges are all rusty from living in the PNW for years.
It bolts directly onto a first gen frame, and there is a filler neck on it, and it fills through the top of the bed right behind the driver's door.
It has tie down D-rings that are made of horseshoes; the guy I bought it from had built the bed himself, and he was a farrier. The hitch looks to have been custom built, too, and is heavy duty. The hitch is still on my truck, but I would be willing to part with it for some extra money.
Located in Wahkiakum County, WA. I was able to lift it off with my tractor, so I should have no trouble loading it onto a flatbed trailer for you, but my tractor won't lift it super high.
Can get extra pictures on request.
I'd like to get $750 for the bed, and if you want the hitch, too, another $200, since a new one is going to cost me a bundle. Open to offers, and cash is preferable, but I would consider trades, too. I like interesting, older firearms, and I'll be looking for a nice, clean, DRY, full size canopy to camp out of, and also could use a three point tiller attachment for the tractor. I'm pretty well set with chainsaws right now, though.

Bump.
I'm headed overseas (Iceland and Greenland) for work for about three weeks, leaving in a few days.
I'll have internet, so I'll still be able to check messages, but as far as meeting someone to load it up, that will not be possible until after 9/7.
