Worn out wear pads

hey guys, the truck I just bought has worn out wear pads on its accuator I was told. The po says they are in the front axel, but my local shop told me it was in the TC and said it would involve tearing down the TC. Now theres a big difference between a simple job replacing these or having the shop tear the tc down which would end up costin me money that I dont wanna spend. I can go without 4wd thats not a problem, I just like to have a prestine running truck. Now is the po wrong or did the shop maybe mishear me over the phone? TIA guys

Neck, depends on if you mean the TC shift yokes or the axle.

I would bet the PO meant the front actuator, and yea, it is stone simple.

The fork in the CAD (central axle disconnect) has plastic pads on the tips of it, not expensive and easy to get to.
