Driving around today the w/wipers mysteriously came on even though the turn signal/wiper control stalk mounted on the steering wheel was turned off. Puzzled me until I think I diagnosed a short in the stalk since I could get the wipers off by turning the stalk to a position in between the detents on the stalk.

Anyone else ever experience this? Any advice?
