Wheel Dilema

Wheel Dilema
I have a1998 Dodge 2500 12 valve. The truck has been great other than somebody put 2003 wheels with big ole 34" tires on it. The tires are great as it really balances out the rear end which is a 4.10.
The tires rub so I decided to put billet spacers on and have broken off my wheel studs in the rear.
I am now thinking I need new wheels that better fit the truck. Here are my 2 choices.
1. Get new wheels and use the old tires on there. I really did like the 2" backspacing as it made the truck look really good.
2. Get some original equipment wheels and get new tires and have an even slower truck based on the gearing. With the tires the gearing is more like a 3.73.
Let me know as this is a tough situation.

I was running 3rdgen wheels on my W250 with spacers only on the front (and a wider 2ndgen rear axle) Worked out just fine. They're my summer wheels/tires.
IMO, just ditch the rear spacers. If you ever add a free-spin kit, most of them increase the track width again, at which point you can lose the spacers altogether.
For many years, most 4wd trucks had a wider front track than rear, stock... about 3-4" difference. No big deal.

I better first say this is for my 1stgen W250 (Dana 60) which has 1/2" studs stock.
I used '86 Chevy K30 studs... no drilling; same knurl.
Raybestos 5726B
Looking at rockauto, Dorman 610-283 is supposed to be the same. They also list 610-563 as a longer direct replacement.
