Its on the driver side hanging between the intake tube and the brake booster. Is it the plug for the TPS? And whats the easiest way to change the fuel filter?

TPS on an auto
Yep looks like the plug for a TPS on an auto trans not to worry if you have a stick good ridance of the TPS...
ON fuel filter if it is stock 98 just disconect the plug to the water sensor wire on bottom of filter housing, then loosen nut on top of housing in center. canister and all will loosen out the bottom. change filter make sure to keep everything very clean.... put back together plug in wires then hand prime with little pump button down below by lift pump Pump that prime pump till your arm is really tired or till you hear fuel squeeze by the o/v in the pump,, THen you should be ready to go, Sometimes when first restarting you may need to hold your foot down a little on the throttle. If it does not start right away stopp and pump some more on the prime pump then repeat.
Good luck that filter is the nicest to change out...
