So I have always wondered why the snail for my intake side looked monsterous in comparison to other 2nd Gen CTD.... Well reading on a post somewhere else in here I found out that one of the updates for the early 94 model year was a 12cm waste gated exhaust housing added to the WH1C turbo.

Now for the question; I want to know if there is a 14cm waste gated housing out there for the WH1C... That and does anyone have any idea what the inducer size of the WH1C is? Maybe the HP capacity if I were to update to a 14cm housing? Even if I have to find a non WG housing and do it with a pop-off valve on the exhaust manifold (routed to the downpipe).

 

Yes they make a 14cm w/g $415 and non w/g $177 from Piers Diesel Research and others. will help lower EGT's on the top end. They fit the H1C, WH1C, and HX-35. Keep the WH1C down to about 30psi. any thing more and you are super heating the air and not gaining any thing but asking for the compressor to blow. I would up grade to an HX-35 has larger wheel and is good for 36psi. Or check out HTTurbo for up grades for your stock turbo.
