valve adjustment
valve adjustment
hi guys i've been thinking about doing a valve adjustment on my truck myself and i've never done it before.
has anybody done it before and how difficult was it to do it?
i was looking at the engine and the rear valve cover bolt seemed hard to reach
and also does anyone know to what specs i should have my valves and everything adjusted to?
thanks

http://dodgeram.org/tech/dsl/valve_adj/12_valve.html that should help you. its a pretty easy straight foreward job. find top dead center & do half the valves, rotate the ballancer 360* and do the other half.
thanks for the link
i have a question though, on the instructions in step four it says that you should turn the alternator pulley bolt clockwise and it will turn the engine backwards, well could i be able to turn it counter clockwise to make the engine go forward?
