Can anyone tell me how to remove the silencer ring on my turbo.I can't seem to hear it spool up.Thanks

 

Take off your inlet tube going into the turbo, and with two small screwdrivers, or someother thin tool of choice you will see the snap ring. Fight with it for awhile and it will come off and the silencer ring is held in place by it. Take them both off and put in your glovebox, tool box etc. as if you have normal adult hearing and don't play loud music when you tow your fifth wheel or any other large object, you will most undoubtedly put it back in when your wife,girlfriend or just yourself get tired of hearing the shreiking sound. It is fun for awhile tho but that only goes for so long in my opinion. Enjoy. Goodluck,,Rick
