Tuning questions
I'll star with the truck. It's a 90 with the 727. I've had the truck about six months. Had to put ip pump on it. I have a post on here about that. 4 inch exhaust open air intake. I put a fuel pin in the pump before I installed it. Today I pulled my camper from Knoxville to Macon Georgia. The egt gauge stayed between 800 and 1000. Tried to reallly run up when boost started to rise. It is controllable. I've read a lot of tuneing threads on here and I think the pin is the problem. Should I pout the factory one back in and turn up the pump (have yet to do that). Just curios. I read that the fuel pins r not really good for towing. But that u could turn up fuel and be ok. Thanks guys

If the EGT temp probe is in the the manifold, NOT the down pipe, 800*-1000*F as the higher temps don't scare me. Just make sure to let it idle for a while when you pull of the highway to cool down the turbo.
Depending on how you tune the pump you will have EGT temp issues as well.

its n the manifold. Thanks for the reply but if I try to accelerate up hill it will go WELL past 1200. If I let it. I haven't but from the way it starts to go up I can tell. I just wonder if I pulled the fuel pin and put a factory one in and then turn up pump if I wouldn't be better off
