Truck won't start!

Truck won't start!

Have fuel to all injectors ( cracked the lines while woman was cranking) I can here the shut off solenoid clicking. It's been pulling this stunt all week. Sometimes she starts sometimes she don't?

Alright I fixed it (kinda) took the solenoid plunger out and it fired right up! The rubber tip was still good, guess the solenoid itself went south.

Maybe the plunger was pulling the fuel shut off high enough?

The solenoids very rarely fail, the vast majority are replaced needlessly.
Make sure the blue wire at the battery isn't corroded, the relay on the firewall is functioning, the solenoid plunger is clean and the linkage isn't binding.

I believe Infidel might be right. The wire coming from the solenoid had been "Rigged" by the PO had been pulled out of the fuse box! Haven't tried it yet...no oil or antifreeze in the truck.
