Truck is dying when shifting
I have a dodge d350 1991.5 2wd truck that was converted to a manual getrag sometime before I bought it. When shifting gears sometimes the truck will want to die or will die and the oil light will turn on until you turn the truck back on and then will go away and also when sitting there with it out of gear when i give it some gas to rev it up it acts like it wants to die also. I need suggestions on what to do, to see why it could be doing this, anything will help.
Thank you

What's the idle speed?
To me it sounds like idle might be too low.
Another possibility would be air getting into the fuel, check the fuel hoses and the connectors on the fuel tank, if they look even a tiny bit porous or corroded replace them.
