Trany Cooler

Good evening gents,it's been awhile hope everybody is have a nice and safe holiday.Has anyone used or have thoughts on using a a/c condensor for a trany cooler ? What are your thoughts on by passing the coolers already on the truck eg the one in front and the one on the engine.
Thanks again in advance Luc

i have been wondering the same thing because my condensor is just sitting there doing noting and that would make a killer cooler maby over kill. but i think it will work no prob

Exactly, through a fan on it put under the bed, would be cheaper than dishing out a couple hundred bucks to b&m for one.

I've been pondering this one. Coolers use slightly different designs for gas & liquid. Usually a gas cooler (freon) is much higher capacity. It should work ok as A/C is higher pressure than trans fluid and the coller materials are similar.

I'am pretty sure it should work, most cooler (tranny) resemble a consensor anyway, and most have 1/2 lines
