check the rear brake switch too, as that will unlock the converter.

I've had a similar issue. But, it may go a month or two between doing it. I'm pretty sure it's the converter locking and unlocking on mine. It only does it at a steady speed. Just the slightest acceleration and it will lock back in. It's happened only during the AM commute. I've never had it happen on the drive home, even if it sat idle for 8-9 hours.

I changed the tps and brake light switch adjusted the tv cable. but it only when the transmission is cold. Once its warms up it stops unlocking and locking.

the converter is electronically controlled. Have you dropped the pan to make sure there isn't a bunch of junk that can jam the electronic servos?

Check and clean all ground connections. On the 24v this can make a big difference.

My truck will not lock in OD till the tranny heats up. That is normal for a 47rh.The trans fluid has to get above 60 deg before lock up will happen. This is normal.

I checked the terminals all clean. I think it might be the transmission temperature sensor. Because once it warms up its fine. What do you guys think?
