Going to the trans shop tomorrow, but have searched for this a few times, and couldnt find an answer here, so will post the answer when I find out. Have a 95 4x4 clubcab, auto newly rebuilt trans, took it to town last night and was driving easy around a curve, and all the sudden without any noises it seemed like it was in neutral. shifted to other gears, nothing. stopped tried reverse, nothing. Tried the transfer case, could only get 4 low, then went into gear. So called the wife, and trailered it home. Drive shafts all intact, just seems like high gear in the transfer is missing, only posts I have seen close was about the shifter rail, but not the same symtoms.
