The hot trans line to put the trans temp sensor in; is it the one that goes from the trans to the heat exchanger, or is it the line that goes from the trans to the cooler and then the heat exchanger.

Also, if I end up putting the tee in, what did you use to cut the line with?

The front trans cooler line is the hot fluid to the ext cooler. Use a tubing cutter to cut line if installing a T for temp sensor.
