Trans leak part 12..........

I've had a trans leak on my '96 for a while. It's worse when the truck is parked with the front lower than the rear. Recently replaced the pan gasket, and it looked good. Drove around 200 miles, and the next morning it's leaked on the ground again. Could it be the dipstick tube seal? The issue seems to be centered at that side of the pan. Has anyone else had this issue?

I would clean that area really good then put cardboard under the tranny pointed down hill, when you see spots on your cardboard crawl under the truck for inspection... and yes the o-ring on the dipstick tube can go bad

I bought a new seal yesterday. The leak is definitely from the pass side front of the pan. Putting it on later today. Thanks!

That fixed it. I should have done that 20 minute job a year ago, but I didn't believe that could be the leak.
