tranny question

does any1 know if the trannies in the diesel trucks are vacuum operated?

I don't know much about the auto trannies but I do not think they are vacuum operated. I do know that they have a TPS (throttle positioning sensor).

Nope, they have a tps, throttle valve which is connected to the trottle linkage, and it has lock up circuits. The only vcuum is on the transfer case on a 4x4.
