Throttle sticking on 97 3500

I recently encountered a break down 580 miles from home in my 1997 3500. The folks at Speedway Dodge in Griffin, GA replaced the crank sensor and fan clutch. They ran the VIN and noticed the truck had not had the throttle cable recall done so they did this while it was there. I had not had any issues with the throttle prior to that time.
On my way home back to Indiana my throttle stuck twice. It has now become an everyday thing. It seems especially bad under heavy acceleration. If I really baby it from a stop it doesn't seem to do it. I had this work done the middle of August and have roughly 4000 additional miles on it. Any ideas what it may be? Would a local Dodge dealer look at this and see if recall was done correctly? I am getting ready to sell this truck and do not want to sell it with a sticking throttle. I have put over $3000 in this truck since January and do not want to put any more money in it just to get rid of it. It has served me well though. Getting ready to turn 529,000.
Note: New TPS installed a month before the throttle recall was done. No problems in between those times.

check to make sure that the throttle linkage on the side of the pump isn't binding up against the pump. had that happen on my 97
