throttle problem
starting
I have been having the same problem but noticed when I went from park to neutral I could usally start the truck. I changed the neutral safety switch and things were good for a couple of days and then back to usual with hard starting. After reading this thread I remembered I had purchased one of the fuel shut off relays and had it in the truck for a spare (lot of good huh?) Put it on yesterday and everything seems fine over the last 30 or so starts.
Thanks guys !
Thanks guys !
Just as a note incase this thread is looked up in a search, or somewhere.
Be sure to check your grounds. I had a truck here in teh shop that had an intermitent no start, andan occasional shut down on the highway. The ground was shot. PDR helped me in diagnosing that problem.
I just took the black wire coming from teh solenoid, and vut it before it even got to the "harness plug" and grounded it right back on the injection pump.
