Source for replacemment priming pump rubber boot?

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement fuel pump priming button rubber boot?
Source?
Part Number?

I changed the fuel filter 2 days ago and upon priming, the rubber boot disintegrated.
With the boot gone, that clean, white plastic plunger rod is exposed to all the under-hood road nasties that will eventually cause it to stick, leak or break the next time I really need it.

Thanks.

No lift pump parts are available.
You'll have to buy an entire pump or find someone with an old pump they want to part out.

At 240k miles you're due for a new lift pump. A pump is only around $90

RATS! That's $90 dollars I don't want to spend just to get a rubber seal...
I was hoping it would be a $7 part from some obscure website that you guys knew about before I fabbed my own.

I guess I'll attempt making my own boot for the pump.
Piece of innertube, PVC pipe cap and a couple ty-wraps.
I'll take some pix of it and post it when I perfect it.

I haven't updated my sig for a while and I've got ~270K and still haven't had to "do" anything major yet.
Killed the KDP, fixed some vacuum leaks, brakes, balljoints, headlight switch. (Just the usual Ram consumables...)
It still gets 20.4mpg on the highway even with ULSD.

This truck has been THE most trouble-free vehicle I've ever owned.

Thanks for verifying my suspicions.

LOL, funny you should mention that SoTx, I was just thinking the same thing.

Thinking about making a plug with the dimensions and trying that plastic dip for tool handles. If that didn't hold up, then try silicone or something else.....

Wouldn't be a big moneymaker, but I would bet a guy could sell 50 plus a year........

I'll have to come up with a quick and dirty cover. Butyl innertube rubber doesn't particularly like diesel so finding another mat'l would be best.
