I have read many threads on here about the color of smoke. But I will post my issue. I have only had my CTD for 3 months. I plow snow and travel over 7 and 9 thousand foot passes. I have been getting noticeable white and blue smoke in the upper elevations. My home town is 5300 feet and I have noticed white and blue smoke occasionaly. What should I check or keep and eye on???

White smoke seems normal

when the truck is cold, or it is cold outside. Blue smoke, isnt that oil?

i would check your timing first, and bump it a bit. my money says it has slipped.

 

It has been cold when I see the white smoke.... It was 20 degrees when I noticed it yesterday.
