silencer ring

Could someone please give me a quick break down on how to remove the silencer ring from my turbo. I have no idea were its at. Thanks

when you take off the intake leading to the inducer you will see a cone shaped object it's a snap ring and you can just wiggle it out with a screw driver, all it is is a noise maker once removed, (mines gone)

You mean the snap ring and then the Cone looking piece of mettle behind if, or just that snap ring?

Take the snap ring off and then the thin aluminum ring with be loose that it holds on.

Ok thank you very much, got it done. I didn’t notice a difference at all with the sound, but then again maybe that’s because I'm running 4 inch down pipe from the turbo to 5 inch smoke stacks.
