Because my bypass filter has a return in the filler tube my K&N filter trick was spitting oil all over my engine, I decided to vent it from a valve cover instead, but I didn't want to go in the top because I want to keep the rattle plate on for looks, so I cut down an AN12 fitting to give rocker support clearence and put the vent out the side of valve cover one, then ran it to a vent tank so that I can trap the oil and reuse it. I still have to mount the vent tank on the firewall....

I see your hose has quite a dip in it.
Beware if your live where it freezes, water can collect in the low point, freeze and block the tubing.
