today i was working on the truck and was under looking at the motor, it is starting to light rust on the block, what can be done with the motor in the truck, i could spray some paint on it but that would just cover it up , i thought spraying soom rust kill on it before painting, what would be the best on this any comments????? thanks and where could one get the paint ,cummins or the part store

The light surface rust is pretty normal for cast iron. Not much you can do except pant it like you said and that is a long shot with out taking it out of the truck to do so. Clean it REAL good, and paint it with any color high temp paint.
