That's a pretty old recall. I would imagine most trucks would have been changed over by now, since the plastic coupler is no longer sold. It has changed up several times, and now must be replaced with new lines, which have a proper flare fitting.
You're out of luck, that recall only applies to gassers.
I tried to talk my dealer into it long ago, no luck. Excuse is a ATF leak on a gasser is more prone to start a fire than on a diesel.
Recalls only apply to items that can cause death or injury, not to things that end up costing you several thousand dollars. Sucks don't it?
I paid for the parts and did it myself. This is a very important modification to do because if one of the plastic couplers fails you can lose all your fluid in a matter of seconds and totally trash the tranny.
