Not sure, but brake cylinders are pretty standardized.
I suggest you go the Napa and ask for the cylinder for your rig and the 4637337 at the same time and size them up to each other.
Let us know.

I see there are 3 different parts under that part # ... Rear, Rt. Rear & Left Rear.

Do you get 2 "Rear" or 1 rt & 1 left?

thanks

chev rear cylinders

I bought a set and installed them. They do help. I guess that is all that I can get out of the rear. My son told me that someone is selling a kit to install disc brakes off a chev that was not to high.It would not have a parking brake. If that is true I could live with it if I got better brakes. After reading this post I decided to give the GM brake cylinders a try. It made a huge difference in stopping power. Am anxious to see how it is towing the fiver.

Great suggestion.

I don't know how it would make a difference but the brake guru who first told me of this mod specifically said to only use the cheap Napa cylinders.

You may not have gotten it bled all the way or if you used the pump the pedal method of bleeding could have damaged a master cylinder seal.

Maybe bad luck of the draw and the proportioning valves on the affected trucks aren't functioning correctly?

There has to be a common denominator somewhere, most folks feel the difference the first time they step on the brakes.

Adjusted the brakes up on both of them today and still no better that I think I just wasted $45.00 and about 1hr labor on both trucks
