There was a thread a few days ago about a problem of a truck that quits at a cold start unless given throttle. The possible remedy was to bump up the idle RPM's. I have the same problem, it will quit at cold start unless given throttle, but once warm, it idles perfectly at 800 RPM. It seems that bumping up the idle speed is not the answer. This is a recent problem, something that has not happened ever before. I have been searching, but I cannot come up with any fixes. The engine starts instantly. Help. Thanks in advance.

 

stills sounds like idle adjustment to me. idle speed set at 800 will still stall when cold.
