OK Here's the deal. My shutdown selniod went out, and I was running the truck without it until I could get a selniod. The other day I shut off the truck with the key still in the run postion. But now when I try to start the truck nothing happens(starter doesn't turn over) I haven't had time to trouble shoot it yet, but was wondering if I might have done something when I shut it down wrong? Though I don't see how it would be any different than if I had stalled the truck.
Most likely your solenoid is fine, what went wrong is your starter contacts are shot, they provide the power to the solenoid. Buy some new ones from any automotive electrical shop or from here http://www.fostertruck.com/dodge/default.htm

I agree with Bill. When the starter contacts fail they can cause the fuel solenoid to hang, sometimes this will cause it to fail as well. The contacts / plunger are on eBay for $20 shipped too.
