Hello, I believe the overflow valve on my 99 is not working properly.

I have an overflow valve from a 94.

Does anyone know the pressure it opens at. Mine is supposed to open at 14psi. I think it is stuck open as it looses prime after sitting overnight.

I would like to try the valve from a 94 that I have already, but want to make sure I am not going to blow anything if the pressure is way off.

The overflow valve for a 12 valve is set at 30.
I didn't think the 12 and 24 valve OF valves were interchangeable size wise anyway.

 

Your right, they are entirely different, I took mine out, and cleaned it, seems I now maintain over 10 psi WOT, so Hopefully that was the problem, will see tomorrow morning after it sits overnight..
