oil and filter change question

oil and filter change question
I have a 1996 dodge cummins that has not been started in over 10 years.I am going to change the oil and filter before I crank it over and start it.My question is should I change the filter after I run it and drive it after a a short time or should the filter that I change with the oil change be fine and not do another filter change.

How does the oil look right now?
At $15 or so, for a filter, you could change it out after a couple hundred miles if you think the oil is dirty.
Or just do another oil and filter change sooner than you normally would.
