Did you recently switch to synthetic? When I went to synthetic it went through 1 gal in 6k mi. But it didn't use a drop in the next 6K. I guess it just had to get used to it.

No dont use synthetics. Thought about it a time or two though, until I see the price tag. The truck sat overnight so I would think most all the oil would have drained into the pan. Dont know, guess I will have to keep a better eye on it.
