Officially diagnosed, do not like the results!!
My suburban has had a miss that has been noticable at an idle and with a good ear you could tell sometimes going down the road. I have been hoping injector cause I had it narrowed down to #5 cylinder. Well tonight I switched #5 & #6 inj. and guess what..... I still have a miss on #..#..#5. Has anyone have suggestions on helping that pump and maybe an explanation as what is actually happening? Truck nearly runs perfect when cold but when warm here we go also compression is not the problem it is definatly pump related. sorry so long!

I had a very similar issue with two of my previous pumps.
While cold, the truck ran good. As the truck warmed, the miss became more prominent
Had the pump replaced by Cummins and had the exact same miss, but on a different cylinder. Cummins pulled that pump off and put another pump on which seemed to solve the problem.
As Cummins did the work, I have no way of knowing exactly what the root problem was.
