Newbie question
Hello everyone!
I got my truck in September with only 132000 miles on it. I can tell by the holes in the A-pillar that a guage pod was used. I can also tell by the bolt in the exhaust manifold that it was set up for a pyrometer. My questions is how can I find out who was the original owner? This was bought at a used truck dealer and he got it from a used dealer auction. I thought that if the original owner put that kind of love to monitor the engine, perhaps some other modifications have been done. Anyway thanks in advance for the help! Sorry for the long story.

Take the tag and vin to the local tag office and for 2 bucks they will give you the info,as the dealer probably never registered it to themselves. Welcome and condgradulations on the new to you truck. Goodluck,,,Rick
Thanks for the input guys! I knew there had to be a way. I've been lurking around here for a while and have been able to use some your other good advice to help repair my Dad's 1st gen. truck. You guy's are great! Now after I get the guages put in and the 4" exhaust w/ Scotty II air intake, I'll probably start asking everyone about transmissions! Until then, I'll hide my piggy bank away from the wife a little longer.
