New Diesel In My 12v

I was trying to find which forum to post this in and did'nt see one about fuels. So I ran my first tank of the new diesel this weekend and my truck ran better. Well so far at least, it could be the warmer weather though. Just curious if anyone else has been running it for a while?

So what's the cetane level in ultra low diesel? Should I add power plus?

The cetane level in the new ULSD is higher than the old fuel but the btus are lower.
Your choice if you want to use additives.
Personally I don't feel it's necessary in a 12 valve except in winter for anti-gel.

I ran the TxLED all summer in my truck and I wish that I had it back, minimum cetane # of 48, got an avg of over 20MPG city and houston highway driving with it, vs the 19MPG highway with the new tires (old ones got worse mileage) while using LSD. No additives in either case.

Good to hear that the 12valve is safe once again.
